Let us come to your classroom
In-School Art Program: Learning about Landscapes
During this 90 minute workshop, students will learn about the Lyman Allyn Art Museum’s impressive collection of American landscape paintings. After a brief art history lesson, students will have the opportunity to make their own landscape paintings on real canvas boards. The museum will supply all art instruction and materials, which include: canvas boards, palettes, acrylic paints, brushes, buckets, and smocks. Lessons can be customized to meet your specific curriculum needs.

Let the museum customize an art history lecture for your group or choose from one of our popular topics:
