In-School Art Program: Learning about Landscapes
During this 90 minute workshop, students will learn about the Lyman Allyn Art Museum’s impressive collection of American landscape paintings. After a brief art history lesson, students will have the opportunity to make their own landscape paintings on real canvas boards. The museum will supply all art instruction and materials, which include: canvas boards, palettes, acrylic paints, brushes, buckets, and smocks. Lessons can be customized to meet your specific curriculum needs.
