Homeschool Day • April

The Museum’s hands-on workshops provide a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the collection, learn innovative art techniques and make new friends.

Programs take place on the second Tuesday of the month, 1 – 3:30 pm. Participants may register for any number of classes.

Participants will enhance their critical thinking, communication, and visual literacy skills as they explore the galleries and complete a hands-on art project each month. This program is designed specifically for aspiring homeschool artists ages 5-12.

Price Per Workshop: Individual Classes: Members $20 / Non-members $22

April 8- Handweaving – Learn about the artistry of handweaving with the Handweavers’ Guild of Connecticut exhibition Woven Journeys. Experiment with different fibers to start a woven piece for yourself.

Upcoming programs: Spring 2025

May 13- Pollinators and Art
