Featuring particularly strong collections of American paintings and decorative arts, the Museum also presents a wide range of changing exhibitions and programs throughout the year.
Lyman Allyn Park will produce a dramatic change in the landscape of New London by creating a 12-acre, freely accessible urban park that will serve as a cultural and educational resource for the City of New London and the surrounding region.

Guests of all ages are invited to join our monthly evening art night (5:00 to 7:30 pm) led by a member of the Learning & Engagement Department. Each activity is inspired by a different exhibition, theme, or artwork. Art supplies are provided. No registration is required. Stop by our art table for 5 minutes or two hours and make something to bring home!
March 6: Kintsugi- Learn about Kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing pottery with gold leaf, and decorate your own ceramic tile.
