Join us for a gallery talk exploring the exhibition Barkley L. Hendricks in New London with Susan Hendricks and Lyman Allyn Curator Tanya Pohrt. Learn more about the life of Barkley L. Hendricks and hear some of the stories behind the works on view.
Susan Hendricks graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in art history. She worked at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum for 17 years and was the director of the ALVA Gallery in downtown New London. She and Barkley L. Hendricks were married for 34 years. Susan administers the estate of Barkley L. Hendricks and is the Managing Director of the Barkley L. Hendricks Photography Archive.
