Northern Lights: Inuit Prints, Drawings & Carvings, 1950-1990  presents the work of indigenous Canadian artists of the 1950s – 1970s, a transformative time in the development of Inuit artmaking traditions. Drawn from the collection of late Stonington resident James Houston, a life-long champion of Inuit art, the exhibition celebrates the skill, imagination and vital humanity of artworks that continue to captivate viewers around the world.
