LYMAN ALLYN OFFERS BUS TRIP TO SEE “AN AMERICAN IN PARIS” IN NYC

New London – On Wednesday, September 28, the Lyman Allyn Art Museum is offering a bus trip to see An American in Paris in New York City. Participants will enjoy a wonderful fall afternoon at the historic Palace Theatre seeing the New York Times Critics’ Pick musical before it closes in October. The bus will depart at 8:30am and will return at 8:00pm to the parking lot of the Lyman Allyn, 625 Williams Street, New London. The cost of the trip is $85 for members and $95 for non-members, and includes bus travel and theatre tickets. Space is limited.

Prior to the show, participants will have a chance to explore New York City and enjoy lunch at a place of their choosing. The Lyman Allyn group will then meet at the Palace Theatre and attend a matinee performance of An American in Paris, a show that The New York Times calls “just plain gorgeous.” The curtain goes up at 2:00pm and the performance is 2 hours and 30 minutes long with one 15 minute intermission. The bus will depart at 4:45pm for the return trip.

Advanced reservations are required. Please contact the Education Department at 860-443-2545 ext. 110.
