Construction
Pardon our appearance! In October 2024 we began work on the development of Lyman Allyn Park. This major project will transform the Museum’s outdoor space into a twelve-acre urban art park. The Museum is working with Downes Construction Co. who is managing the project. The first phase begins with a range of tree work, including pruning, trimming, and removal of some trees that were not part of the 1932 site plan, as well as removal of invasive species. Learn more about the project here.
What does this mean for visiting?
We will remain open during normal hours throughout the landscaping renovations. Please note that you will experience varying levels of construction noise upon entering and existing the Museum.
